chargeIT mobility won the "Charging Technology Product Innovation of the Year" Award at the E-Mobility Week in New Delhi against seven well-known competitors. This was made possible by the technology of the in-house developed Charging Controller. The technological characteristics make the Charging Controller an important component in controlled charging in order to avoid grid overload.


New Delhi/Kitzingen: At the E-Mobility Week in New Delhi, India, chargeIT mobility won the award in the category "Charging Technology Product Innovation of the Year". The intelligent Charging Controller, which is the heart of the chargeIT mobility charging system, was sent into the race for the coveted award. Coupled with the company's own IT-Backend, it unfolds the intelligence to communicate with connected charging systems in the field. Through that controlling of the available power and accounting the consumption in kWh in real time is possible. In order to avoid overloading the grids and to guarantee a secure power supply, an intelligent management of the charging capacity is necessary for several charging systems integrated into the grid. chargeIT mobility has taken up this challenge and solved it with the Charging Controller. The company is now being honored for this.


chargeIT was dignified with the "Charging Technology Product Innovation of the Year" award. The award honors the innovation and networked technology offered by the Charging Controller. "We are very pleased to be able to make a contribution to environmentally friendly vehicle use with our technology in India as well," says Sebastian Bachmann, CEO of chargeIT mobility. "Especially in the (big) cities the locomotion with electric vehicles is the future and an important step towards the reduction of fine dust pollution in India", adds Yogesh Dabhade, CEO of HOCH.REIN GmbH, India. The chargeIT Charging Controller is an in-house innovation and is being continuously developed and enhanced.

In the category "Charging Technology Product Innovation of the Year", the Charging Controller prevailed over seven other products in the e-mobility sector. The jury is composed of industry experts from the market research team, the SMEV (Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles), ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) and ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology). "The Charging Controller convinced us with its intelligent technology to keep network utilization as low as possible. This technology is very valuable for the Indian market," says Ekta Pujari, Asst. Vice President BD of EMobility+.


E-Mobility Week in New Delhi united personalities from government agencies, consultants, owners and developers of the automotive industry, as well as international experts and manufacturers of technologies for e-vehicles. In addition to various exhibitions, the E-Mobility Week was also organized with speeches and panel discussions, at which Yogesh Dabhade, as representative of chargeIT mobility, raised the flag for the valuable chargeIT mobility technology.

Funding call for charging infrastructure in Brandenburg

On 03.09.2018, the call for funds was launched in the RENplus 2014-2020 program, in which the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy calls for applications for funding to be submitted. The construction of publicly accessible charging infrastructure in Brandenburg with at least one charging point is the subject of funding, including grid connection and installation. 


The Ministry of Economy and Energy increased the budget from 25 million to 115 million euros. The program supports the public charging infrastructure and motivates companies to invest in measures to reduce energy-related CO2 emissions.


Grant applications can now be submitted until October 29, 2018. The obligatory application documents are available at www.ilb.de.

Energiegemeinschaft Schweinfurt zu Gast bei chargeIT mobility

Mitglieder der Energiegemeinschaft Schweinfurt waren am Freitag, 20.07.2018, bei uns am Standort in Kitzingen zu Besuch. Vor Ort wurden sie bei strahlendem Sonnenschein mit kühlen Getränken empfangen. Die Anwesenden konnten einen Eindruck von unseren Ladesystemen und der Technik dahinter gewinnen. Auch wurden fünf Ladeclusterzentralen präsentiert, mit denen die Steuerung von je 10 Ladepunkten ermöglicht wird und so ein zuverlässiges Lastmanagement praktikabel ist. Unsere Vertriebs- und Entwicklungsmitarbeiter nahmen sich Zeit, um alle Fragen rund um die Ladesysteme und Elektromobilität zu beantworten. In entspannter Atmosphäre wurde unsere Lademeile im Technologiezentrum INNOPARK Kitzingen unter die Lupe genommen. Auf dieser sind zu Test- und Entwicklungszwecken Ladesysteme unterschiedlicher Hersteller aufgestellt und die chargeIT Ladecontroller integriert. Zum Abschluss durften die Besucher eine Probefahrt mit den Elektroautos genießen, welche auf große Begeisterung stieß. „Es war ein schöner Tag mit tollen Eindrücken und Erlebnissen. Wir freuen uns, so viele interessierte Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter wie auch in chargeIT einen starken Partner in Sachen Elektromobilität gefunden zu haben“, so Dirk Wapki, Vorsitzender der Energiegemeinschaft Schweinfurt.

Unkomplizierter Ladevorgang, Kostentransparenz und 24-Stunden-Service – was muss eine Ladesäule können? Das hat sich der ADAC auch gefragt und deutschlandweit öffentlich zugängliche Ladesäulen getestet.


Hohen Neuendorf/Kitzingen: Beim großen ADAC Test 2018 wurden in ganz Deutschland 53 öffentliche Ladesäulen für E-Fahrzeuge getestet. Die Plug&Play Ladebox von chargeIT mobility in Hohen Neuendorf schneidet im Test positiv ab. Das Urteil fällt „gut“ aus.


Besonders positiv bewertet wurde die 24-Stunden-Hotline von chargeIT mobility. Kunden wird an Ort und Stelle, ohne lange Wartezeit, sofort geholfen. Der Ladevorgang selbst erhielt die bestmögliche Bewertung. Das Zugangsmedium  ist sofort einsehbar und kostenlos, sodass monatliche Gebühren für einen Account entfallen. Somit kann an der Ladestation auch von Durchreisenden, Fremd- oder Neukunden ohne Probleme geladen werden. Dank eines funktionierenden Backends finden die Nutzer im Internet Angaben zur Steckeranzahl und den Steckertypen samt Ladeleistung sowie Informationen zur Verfügbarkeit der Station.


An den Ladesäulen der chargeIT mobility sind Preis- und Tarifinformationen sichtbar integriert, um den Nutzer der Ladestationen die notwendige Preistransparenz zu bieten.


chargeIT mobility entwickelt und optimiert die Hard- und Software fortlaufend, sodass an den Ladesystemen ab dem Baujahr 2015 ab der Steuerung 3.0 die Preisinformationen im Vorfeld auf dem Display angezeigt werden. Natürlich nur, wenn ein Preis eingestellt ist. Ist das Laden kostenlos, wie an der von ADAC getesteten Ladestation in Hohen Neuendorf, wird keine Preisinformation angezeigt. Alternativ sind die Tarifinformationen auch meist in den Apps von Roaminganbietern ausgewiesen. Ebenso wird die geladene Energiemenge am Ende des Ladevorgangs auf dem Display der Ladesäule angezeigt. Der Strompreis pro Einheit sowie die Kosten nach dem Laden können von registrierten Nutzern auch im Lademanagementportal (LMP) eingesehen werden.


Die Preise für eine Akkuladung hängt von vielen Faktoren ab, beispielsweise der Batteriekapazität, dem Ladezustand oder der Ladesäule. Die Folge daraus: Pauschale Empfehlungen können den Nutzern nicht gegeben werden. Die chargeIT hat dafür eine Lösung: Eine Abrechnung nach Kilowattstunden, die sowohl die Zeit, wie auch die Leistung berücksichtigt. Bedingt durch das leistungsstarke Backend, in Verbindung mit dem integrierten Ladecontroller der chargeIT mobility, wird diese intelligente Art der Abrechnung möglich.


„Wir sind stets bestrebt unseren Kunden, den Betreibern und auch den Nutzern unserer Ladestationen den bestmöglichsten Service zu bieten. Daher bieten wir beispielsweise dem Betreiber verschiedene Preismodelle an und unsere Service-Hotline ist auch für die Nutzer rund um die Uhr erreichbar.“, so Sebastian Bachmann, Geschäftsführer von chargeIT mobility.


Die Tests wurden durch die P3 automotive im Zeitraum vom 26.7-15.8.2017 und 10.11-14.11.2017 mit zwei handelsüblichen BMW i3 Elektroautos durchgeführt. Im Fokus standen dabei die Ladestationen der großen Städte Deutschlands Berlin, Hamburg, Köln, Leipzig, München und Stuttgart, sowie deren Umland.

chargeIT mobility wins Germany's largest load management project

One of Europe's most substantial load management projects comes into existence in Dörnberg in Regensburg. ChargeIT mobility delivers the entire charging infrastructure system consisting of hardware and software. Currently, at least 220 charging points with expansion options are planned.


Regensburg/Kitzingen: At the beginning of this year, the Regensburger Energie- und Wasserversorgung AG & Co KG (REWAG) conceptualised and publicly advertised the charging and load management project as part of the underground parking development. Several charging providers had applied. The contract was awarded to chargeIT mobility GmbH from Kitzingen in Germany. ‘We look forward to realising this groundbreaking project,’ says Yusuf Akdeniz, head of sales for chargeIT mobility. The number of charging points and demanding technical requirements make this a benchmark-setting project for the still underdeveloped non-public car charging market. The private sector will obtain the most significant share of automotive electricity in the future, but so far not many solutions are available in housing estates. Thus, the Dörnberg district, developed by the Hubert Haupt Immobilien Holding and Bucher Properties, claims a pioneering role. REWAG together with chargeIT mobility offers a comprehensive package including project development, contract processing, as well as the consequent operation over a period of ten years. At the same time, REWAG utilises the chargeIT mobility solutions to combine private charging in underground parking with public charging in the city and surrounding areas through a single payment option. With over 110 charging points in Regensburg as well as the surrounding region, REWAG has already created a comprehensive public charging infrastructure. 


Unique project in Germany


The undertaking in Dörnberg is currently the largest charging infrastructure and load management project in Germany. Upon completion of the final expansion phase in 2020, over 200 charging points will be available to charge electric vehicles. Required is intelligent load management to operate as many charging points as possible while at the same time ensuring the optimal power supply of all connected components, for example, apartments.

There will be over 200 wallbox charging points with an output of up to 22 kW. The main reason for the complexity of the project is that the available grid power has to be controlled so that both the resident companies and private residences can be reliably powered, and the electric vehicles can be charged at the same time without causing overvoltage due to network congestion. For this, the load management power is distributed dynamically and optimally. A backup option is available in cases of failure, which ensures the charging of electric vehicles with their minimum specification and also guarantees authentication without RFID charging card. A VIP activation via RFID to utilise the full power of the charging points is also planned.


The project is scheduled for completion at the turn of the year


The first construction phase with 40 charging points will be completed as early as July 2018.


In the next step, the REWAG will install the necessary cables, distribution substations and carry out the grid-related works. Following this, chargeIT mobility will equip the electrical rooms with the so-called charging cluster centres and install the wallboxes. A total of 160 additional charging points shall be installed in two further construction phases at the turn of the year 2018/2019.

Entlastung der Stromnetze durch intelligentes Laden. Bei gleichzeitigem und hohem Stromverbrauch von Gebäuden in Verbindung mit Elektroautos ist ein sinnvolles Lastmanagement essentiell. Der intelligente Ladecontroller von chargeIT mobility schafft eine Lösung durch individuelles Lastmanagement.



Kitzingen: E-Mobilität ist längst nicht mehr nur Zukunftsvision. E-Mobilität ist im Hier und Jetzt angekommen, das kann mittlerweile niemand mehr von der Hand weisen. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass vorhandene Stromnetze und Netzanschlüsse kosteneffizient für das Laden von E-Fahrzeugen genutzt werden können.


Das Lastmanagement wird überall da wichtig, wo die Anschlussleistung ans Stromnetz begrenzt ist

und durch das Zugreifen mehrerer Komponenten, wie Wohnungen, Rampenheizung in Parkhäusern oder auch durch das gleichzeitige Laden mehrere E-Fahrzeuge, die verfügbare Leistung limitiert ist. So kann es ohne intelligentem Lastmanagement schnell zur Überlastung des Netzes und der Sicherungen kommen.


Das Lastmanagement funktioniert mit dem von chargeIT mobility entwickelten Ladecontroller, welcher nicht nur in deren Ladesysteme sondern auch in die anderer Hersteller integriert werden können. So sind die Ladeinfrastruktur-Betreiber nicht an einen Systemhersteller gebunden und können die Lasten zentral, flexibel und intelligent steuern. Der Ladecontroller regelt die Leistung des Ladepunktes bei Ausfall der Kommunikation mit dem IT-Backend auf einen vorkonfigurierten Minimalwert herunter, damit das Stromnetz geschont wird.


Zur intelligenten Steuerung sehr vieler Ladepunkte kann der Mastercontroller in einer Zentrale eingebaut werden. Dieser dient als zweite Sicherheitsstufe, da er die maximale Anschlussleistung überwacht und auf die Ladepunkte verteilt.


Das Lastmanagement von chargeIT mobility macht es möglich, unter Berücksichtigung der am Stromnetz angeschlossenen Komponenten sowie der vorhandenen Anschlussleistung, E-Fahrzeuge netzschonend zu laden. Lastspitzen, bei denen ein erhöhter Stromverbrauch ausgewiesen wird, werden gezielt vermieden und so die E-Fahrzeuge kosteneffizient geladen. Dabei können auch regenerative Energien in das Netz eingespeist und zum Laden verwendet werden. So können Betreiber von Ladeinfrastrukturen beim Auf- und Ausbau Kosten einsparen. Das Lastmanagement ist flexibel. Es können beliebig viele Ladestationen, mit Blick auf die zur Verfügung stehende Anschlussleistung, nachgerüstet werden, Ladestationen und Autorisierungen (z.B. Ladekarten) priorisiert und über das IT-Backend die bereitgestellte Leistung eingestellt und gesteuert werden.


Die Ladesysteme werden mit dem Ladecontroller zur intelligenten Steuerung der Stromlasten versehen, welche mit dem optionalen Mastercontroller kommunizieren. Die Daten werden über eine gesicherte Verbindung an das Rechenzentrum gesandt. Hier kann der Betreiber mittels dem Lademanagementportal auf die Daten zugreifen, die für die Ladepunkte zur Verfügung gestellte Leistung einstellen und anpassen sowie individuelle Ladeprioritäten (z.B. eine bestimmte RFID-Karte) festlegen.

Wichtiger Hinweis zur VDE-Richtlinie zum Überspannungsschutz

Für eine längere Lebensdauer Ihrer Ladesysteme

Ein Überspannungsschutz ist wichtig, um die Lebensdauer Ihrer Ladesysteme zu verlängern und diese verfügbar zu halten. Durch Überspannung, beispielsweise ausgelöst durch einen Blitzschlag, kann das Ladesystem einen Schaden davon tragen und funktionsunfähig werden. Dies vermeiden Sie durch einen entsprechenden Überspannungsschutz.


Um die Gebäudesicherheit zu gewährleisten, besteht nach VDE 0100-443 die Verpflichtung, einen Überspanungsschutz einzubauen. Jede Gebäudezuleitung und –ableitung muss mit einem Überspannungsschutz gesichert sein. Für den Schaden durch Überspannung übernimmt  sowohl chargeIT wie auch einige Fahrzeughersteller keine Haftung und keine Garantie. Daher empfehlen wir Ihren Planer/Elektriker zu kontaktieren, ob ein Überspannungsschutz im Gebäude ausreichend ist oder die Ladestation mit einem Kombiableiter (Blitzschutz und Überspannungsschutz) ausgestattet werden muss. Diese Option muss vor der Bestellung beauftragt werden.

Schweinfurt/Kitzingen: With over seven years' experience, BELECTRIC Drive has not only built up key expertise in electro-mobility but is also considered as one of the pioneers in establishing e-charging infrastructure in Germany. Once some imaginative economy, energy and information technology engineers clubbed together to come up with a neat solution for charging electric vehicles. In order to gather information on what it is like to deal with electric cars day to day, a fleet of over 50 vehicles was even brought into operation at the time in the Lower Franconia region. Since then a lot has happened and the company has strengthened its market position thanks to its innovative capabilities and tenacity. Now the start-up is stepping onto the next level and, from now on, will be named “chargeIT mobility”.


"With the new name 'chargeIT mobility', our ambitious goals and visions for the future are really taking shape," Sebastian Bachmann explains, CEO of the rebranded chargeIT mobility GmbH. "The issue of connectivity is particularly important in this age of electro-mobility and driverless cars. The new name demonstrates our clear focus on combining the worlds of mobility and charging in the best possible way using innovative IT solutions." The charging solutions are not being further developed from as far as some software companies do, but with non-stop testing at our own test sites and charging clusters at the Technology Center INNOPARK in Kitzingen. Work is ongoing to fine-tune and optimize the "user – vehicle – charging station – software – supply – network" cycle for practical everyday use.

The fact that this is not a market niche is clear from the strategic approach adopted by the renamed company, which plans to work with other key players to expand the charging infrastructure for electro-mobility in Germany. In the medium term, this means improvement of system stability and user-friendliness of charging stations in order to achieve a reliable charging performance for everyone involved in future technology. BELECTRIC Ladesäule Online in Varennes-sur-Seine bei Fontainebleau.

Varennes-sur-Seine: As part of a project managed by the Seine and Marne (SDESM) Municipal Energy Association, chargeIT mobility is installing a latest-generation charging station in Varennes-sur-Seine near Fontainebleau. The BELECTRIC Online charging station is equipped with two charging points, both of which have two sockets (type 3 and Schuko).  With the type 3 sockets that are standard in France, E-cars can be completely charged in two hours - and E-bikes and electric scooters can also stock up on electricity at the station. The intelligent charging station can be activated by RFID and is managed centrally via the online portal.



SDESM and BELECTRIC have been working together for over two years. Their collaboration first started with the installation of a photovoltaic system by BELECTRIC with an Online charging box and battery storage at the head office of SDESM in La Rochette near Paris.

From now on, a new Internet service for electric refueling will be providing customers with a detailed overview of every charging station. In cooperation with YellowMap, chargeIT mobility is providing this service as part of the presentation of the new BMW i3 to the public. From now on, the intelligent charging infrastructure of chargeIT mobility is offering everyone the possibility of checking the status of public charging stations in real time on the Internet.

“Every Internet-capable device will be able to access the status of any BELECTRIC charging point. For the first time, users can check in advance how much charging at the individual locations will cost and which charging points are operating and are free – so that they can plan their route as effectively as possible. In future, it will even be possible to reserve charging points,” explains Sebastian Bachmann, CEO of chargeIT mobility, describing the advantages of the new system. With this development, chargeIT mobility is taking a step closer toward guaranteeing freedom and flexibility for its users.

The BELECTRIC portal gives the latest status of the charging points, updated every minute. For its quality-assured content, the new Internet service calls on the emerging European reference database for e-mobility on the Internet at Smarttanken.de, a service initiated by YellowMap AG, based in Karlsruhe, Germany, and implemented by partners such as the German automobile association, ADAC. “At present we are working our way through all the roughly 2,000 electric refueling points in Germany and Austria, so that we can offer e-mobility users reliable information during their journey. At many charging stations, the drivers are even given the latest status information for the charging point. Through its membership, BELECTRIC seeks to encourage dialog on important aspects regarding the economical and sustainable realization of the energy turnaround between all the parties involved.
